Hello Anthony, thanks for your posting, your story is still on the website on the following link, http://www.rotherham-ghosts.com/sheffieldsightings.htm#132341445 just cut and paste this into your browser and it will take you straight to it, or you can access it through Hauntings, under the Sheffield section, it's listed under Richmond Road, Sheffield in the index. I can confirm that we have not had any further information about this sighting, however, if we do I will email this on to you. Regards Richard@Rotherham-ghosts.com
I once posted an experience my wife and I had at christmas time about 2 years ago driving back from my brothers in Handsworth/Richmond Sheffield, it was at the cross roads just after passing the Richmond Pub on left, as we approached the cross junction a very clear shadow of a carriage minus the horses and driver passed in front of our car at speed down the road on left heading to Richmond Park. I turned to my wife immediately to ask if she had just seen what I had seen which she shakingly replied yes. She explained that she saw a black vehicle pass that looked a little like an old sixties car simular to the kind Bonnie and Clyde era which is kind of what looks like a carriage like I saw. I have told this story to all our friends but the story is not on your web site anymore, do you keep old submitted stories in an archive or do you delete them after a while? also I asked if anyone else had seen this carriage in this area before or since our sighting but have not seen any replies, as anyone seen something? please get in touch with Rotherham Ghosts and I will keep looking.
Thank you Mr. A Walker
